By accessing or using Autoscalr ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Autoscalr.

Autoscalr is an AI-powered DevOps automation platform that generates infrastructure-as-code configurations, scaling policies, networking setups, monitoring configurations, and deployment scripts. The platform integrates with cloud providers including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure.

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service

Important — Please Read Carefully:

• All infrastructure configurations, Terraform files, scaling policies, and other outputs generated by Autoscalr are AI-generated and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or suboptimal configurations
• Users must thoroughly review, test, and validate all generated outputs before deploying to production environments
• Autoscalr does not guarantee that generated configurations are free from security vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, or compatibility issues
• AI-generated outputs are provided as a starting point and should be treated as suggestions, not final production-ready configurations without review

Autoscalr expressly disclaims liability for:

• Infrastructure failures, downtime, or outages resulting from configurations generated by or deployed through the Service
• Cloud costs, overages, or unexpected charges incurred on your AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud provider accounts
• Misconfigurations that lead to data loss, security breaches, or service interruptions
• Performance issues, scaling failures, or resource allocation problems
• Any damages arising from deploying AI-generated configurations without proper review and testing

You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your cloud infrastructure, associated costs, and the decision to deploy any configuration.

Platform Ownership

The Autoscalr platform, including its software, algorithms, AI models, user interface, documentation, branding, and all related intellectual property, is owned exclusively by Autoscalr and its licensors.

User-Generated Output

All infrastructure configurations, Terraform files, and other outputs generated through your use of the platform belong to you. You retain full ownership and rights to use, modify, and distribute your generated outputs.

User Content

By submitting infrastructure descriptions, project data, or configurations to the platform, you grant Autoscalr a limited, non-exclusive license to process this data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose. See our Acceptable Use Policy for full details.

• Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe
• All fees are non-refundable except as stated in our Refund & Cancellation Policy
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Autoscalr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill
• Autoscalr's total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Autoscalr in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim
• Autoscalr is not liable for any damages resulting from cloud infrastructure deployments, cloud provider charges, or third-party service failures
• This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise)

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Autoscalr, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these terms, or deployment of generated configurations.

• You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through account settings
• We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, non-payment, or at our discretion with reasonable notice
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately
• We may retain certain data as required by law or legitimate business purposes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [City], India.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
